String Sprouts to perform at celebration of new Salvation Army site in Council Bluffs

Omaha Conservatory of Music is pleased to join The Omaha Salvation Army from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 29, to in celebrating the opening of a new Salvation Army site at 715 N. 16th St. in Council Bluffs. During the first part of this celebration, a group of the Conservatory’s String Sprouts will perform a short concert.

The Conservatory encourages the public to come visit this new site, which will house String Sprouts classes in the 2017-18 academic year; and learn about String Sprouts at this event, and participate in an instrument “petting zoo,” allowing event-goers to see, touch and play actual instruments provided for the String Sprouts program.

Light refreshments will also be provided.
